"Deschutes Brewery’s Bend Pub is thrilled that EC Works has chosen us to give a matching grant for our kitchen-training program. We opened our doors back in 1988, and are humble, yet proud of our role as an innovator and leader in craft beer and scratch kitchen inspired cuisine. Finding experienced cooks is challenging in today’s tight labor market. This grant will allow us to better train and develop our current kitchen team for roles as line cooks in our fast-paced kitchen, while allowing flexibility to backfill entry-level positions such as dishwashers and prep cooks. Thanks EC Works!" – Deschutes Brewery
"The East Cascades WORKS Employer Training Fund Program was a great benefit for our company in seeking the training we needed in a very distinct and specialized field of study, that we may not have had an opportunity for otherwise. This was a great asset to our company and the training we received will benefit us greatly in expanding our business capabilities" - Hage Electric
